['ʃæːrnstɛt], Marika, Pseudonym Mark Stẹrn, schwedische Schriftstellerin, * Stockholm 12. 1. 1875, ✝ Tyringe 25. 10. 1954; behandelte in zahlreichen Romanen und Erzählungen v. a. ethische und psychologische Aspekte von Frauenschicksalen; vertrat später radikal sozialistische Anschauungen. In zweiter Ehe war sie mit dem Schriftsteller L. Nordström verheiratet; 1931-43 Vorsitzender des schwedischen Schriftstellerverbandes.
